About SSC GD Examination

SSC GD examination is an examination conducted by SSC (Staff Selection Commission) for the recruitment of Constables in various security forces including:

  • CISF (Central Industrial Security Force)
  • BSF (Border Security Force)
  • NIA (National Investigation Agency)
  • SSB (Sashastra Seema Bal)
  • ITBP (Indo Tibetan Border Police)

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Applicants must have completed 10th or 12th grades from a recognized school / college.
  • The age limit for SSC GD examination is 18 to 23 years. Additional age relaxation is there for SC/ST/OBC/Ex-Serviceman.

Selection Procedure:

A four-step selection process consists of a written computer test, followed by a physical examination, a physical standard test, and a medical examination.
