Kumaun University is one of largest government universities in Uttarakhand, India that specializes in various undergraduate & post graduate courses like BA, B.Sc, B.Com, B.Ed, MSc, etc.

BA from Kumaun University is a 3 year degree program that can be done in either year-wise or semester wise mode. Well, it completely varies from colleges to colleges.

In the semester system, each year is divided into two semesters, thus six in total.

01. Kumaun University BA Economics Syllabus

1st Year:

The syllabus of first year involves the study of Microeconomics & Quantitative Methods. These two topics are divided into two parts, half of which is included in the first semester while the other half in the second one.

2. Basic Quantitative Methods for Economics-I	2. Basic Quantitative Methods for Economics-II.

2nd Year:

In the similar way, two books are there in the syllabus of the next two semesters. Micro Economics & Public Finance is what you will learn in the first book while Money, Banking & International Trade is what you will study in the second book.

3rd Year:

Indian Economy, Agriculture in India & Economic thoughts of some of the top economists & socialists like Adam Smith, Malthus, Karl Marx, etc is what you will learn in the 5th semester.

The final semester however consists of study of Economic planning, Economics of Uttarakhand & economics thoughts of many other socialists.

02. Kumaun University BA English Syllabus

1st Year:

Proses like On the Whim of Lottery Adventurers, Poor Relations, etc along with Shakespeare’s drama is covered in the first half while poetries like  Sweetest Love I do not Goe, The Tyger & many others are there in the second semester.
